The old "Monilia" probably owes its name to shine and reflections of the sea in this small bay that interrupts, between Punta Moneglia and Punta Rospo, the high and jagged cliff that stretches between Sestri Levante and Deiva Marina. The pines and olive trees come to be reflected on the water, framing the village and the beach. It's a typical fishing village with narrow alleys, roofs and lintels slate, the fishing boats. This resort lies in an intimate space, serene, suitable human scale. The classic place starting from the fine sand of the beach, you arrive in just two steps, to shops, many bars, or, simply, the protective shadow of the arcades pleasantly cool and calm.
